Yin Yoga Class
YIN YOGA ~ A softer, gentler form of yoga seems to be quietly on the rise. Come enjoy this 75 minute class. Yin Yoga is essentially a stretching practice that focuses on increasing your flexibility, cooling the body and calming the mind. Stretches are held for up to five minutes. By holding a pose and relaxing into it, you'll gently tug at the deep, dense connective tissues of the body: tendons, ligaments and cartilage, which are drier and less elastic than muscles and difficult to keep healthy. This practice elongates the spine and opens the hips, and is very restorative and rehabilitative for the joints and muscles. Yin Yoga is based on traditional Chinese medicine and the theory that our bodys network of connective tissue corresponds with the meridians (energy channels) of acupuncture. Therefore, strengthening and stretching connective tissue may be critical for your long-term health by keeping these energy channels - and corresponding organs - functioning optimally. Yin yoga is an excellent complement to other styles of yoga and exercise and is especially good at enhancing your performance in sports such as running, cycling, tennis, golf and skiing. Set to relaxing music, most of the poses are seated and held for 3-5 minutes. This practice leaves the yoga practitioner with an overall sense of lightness, spaciousness and relaxation. Some benefits include a deeper range of motion, an increased flow of energy, healthier joints, improved health, greater strength, reduced stress levels. Beneficial to all. No Yoga experience needed, all levels welcome & encouraged to attend. Your joints will thank you. If you have any questions please call [masked]) or email me at [masked]

Kundalini Yoga for your Chakras
Sat Nam, Class is at 4:00 today due to a workshop Come nourish your soul with Kundalini Yoga for your Chakras. Each week using crystals, essential oils or food for that chakra. This class is suitable for all. Beginners need not worry: the focus is more on breathing and meditation than on difficult postures. In every posture you have a chance to experience devotion, that's what postures are really all about. Embrace the spirit in you and marvel at the beautiful engineering of your own body. So come and enjoy the results of a Kundalini Yoga Class. Classes are 90 minutes. What are Chakras? Chakra is the most common term for the energy centers that occur along the midline of the body, within the auric field. Visualized as spinning wheels or vortices of light and color, chakras are centers of energy that relate to each of our bodys systems and organs. Each chakra corresponds to a different area of the body and an aspect of the psyche. Physical and psychological problems are thought to show up in a persons chakras and energy field long before symptoms are noticeable. Chakras are often listed by their color and frequency or energy vibration. The color of a chakra will vary with the health, awareness, and character of an individual. Chakras are sensitive to energy work and to healing ingredients like essential oils, sound healing, energy work, bodywork and holistic therapies. The lower chakras (root, sacral and solar plexus) correspond to our physical body and our lower impulses, while the upper chakras (throat, brow, and crown) relate to communication, vision and foresight, our intuition, and the connection with spirituality and divinity. The heart chakra is the symbolic bridge between the two. It is believed that past life memories and the impact of our past lives can lodge in any of these energy centers, and affect the health of the chakra and the health of our bodies. What is Kundalini Yoga? Kundalini yoga is an ancient science or technology to awaken awareness, it utilizes breathing, mantra (sound and rhythm), mudra (hand postures), asanas (postures) and the beaming power of the mind. Shamballa Basic Workshop
Shamballa Basic: 2 days. $200 Oct 9th & 10th 9-5 Includes healer certificate and manual. ABOUT SHAMBALLA The central core of Shamballa is LoveLove and Freedom. Love for oneself and an innate knowingness of ones connection with Mother/Father God and all Creation. Freedom from all that stands in the way of that knowingness. Freedom to know who you are, and to step into your Power, to step into your Mastery. In a Shamballa workshop you will experience meditations designed to help you to clear away all of the old emotional debris you have been carrying around through lifetimes. Then you will be filled with the energies of Shamballa and connected to the source of those energies, so that you may call upon them whenever you will. The main purpose of these clearings and initiations are for your own evolutionary development. As you evolve, you make it easier for the rest of humanity to follow in your footsteps. You help the collective consciousnessand unconsciousnessof humanity to expand and grow into the consciousness of Love. As a by-product, you may call upon the Shamballa energies to help facilitate healing, both your own and that of others. The ascended Master Germain assures us that the Shamballa energies are now part of an energetic gridwork around the Earth. We may call upon easily at any time. The origins of the Shamballa system lie way back in pre-history as we know it. Germain was incarnate in Atlantis at the time. He brought through the original system in order to help in the evolution of low vibrational beings who were being used as slaves. He wanted to make this slavery unacceptable, and to free these beings from their bondage of ignorance. The system today is much expanded, for we are ready for much higher energies now. But its purpose is similarto free us from our bondage of ignorance, to bring us into the Love and Freedom of our own mastery. What does it mean to be a Master? It does not mean power over others. It simply means being a Master of oneself. As any true Master will tell you. NOW is the time to release all unnecessary programs from the past and to prepare to receive the new energies coming in. We are about to co-create here on Earth things beyond our imagination. You are invited to be present in each and every moment, and to enjoy the dance through to the end of time. Hari Babba Melchizedek (John Armitage) & Master Germain
